Vex and Tomizone cooperate to offer largest Wi-Fi Network in the southern hemisphere

Vex, the largest Wi-Fi Hotspot operator in Latin America and Tomizone, the largest Wi-Fi Hotspot operator in Australasia and the Pacific, announced at the Wireless Broadband Alliance Round Table meeting in San Diego, that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to form a Strategic Alliance for maximizing Wi-Fi Hotspot growth.
Immediately following this agreement, Vex and Tomizone customers will be able to roam on each other’s networks using their home account for high speed Wi-Fi Hotspot access within the next three months. Further operational and technical efficiencies will also be aligned over time to enhance user experience.

Vex and Tomizone are privately held companies experiencing massive growth and collectively offer Wi-Fi Internet services to over 25,000 venues that include Airports, Hotels such as Accor, chain stores such as McDonalds and Starbucks, City Wi-Fi and many other popular places. An additional 40,000 WI-Fi Hotspots are also made available through bi-lateral roaming agreements with other providers.
